FF is seriously one of the best games.. but the but FF to me is still FF7.. cool never ending story..

Final Fantasy is great.. and my favourite of all FFs are FF6..
I don't really compare graphics, but despite technology, FF6 during that time is really well created though. FF6 got very good gameplay and storyline..
another game i like is Chrono Cross.. one of my favourite storyline... -
what about Dragon Quest? currently playing Dragon Quest 8... not too bad.. but the artist should really try to draw different even if he's the same artist for dragon ball

Super Samurai...a very old 2D Nes game....i believe it is one of the best RPG game during the mid 80s...
Then Shenmue 1 and 2 for dreamcast... one of the great artwork and new RPG style in the late 90s...which till now many games developer use it as the game standard. -

then after that i moved to PS liaw, METAL GEAR SOLID !!!!!
then... PS 2 would be.... FINAL FANTASY X !!!!
