  most banks only do loans for local education only...
  
  there is one dunno wat credit company near telecom...
  
  not too sure if they are still there...

  I don't think local banks let us do that. Local banks let us loan for local education nia.

  er.. 2 years ago i think i was runnin around with my fren doin a research on bank loans for oversea edu..
  
  and we decided hsbc was teh best one =)

  One year is usually divided into two semesters. So the fees quoted under semester fees means you need to pay once half a year.
  
  Unless they work differently (that is they have x semesters (other than 2) per year), this definition applies. Email RMIT and ask.

  but DBS, OCBC dun have " education loan " for overseas... they only will tell u " accept their bank over-draft ".. which is only about 2 times of the borrower current salary.
  Meaning, u have to ask ur family to do the loan..
  
  HSBC, i heard a lot of ppl do borrow from them.

  First and foremost why aren't you opting for local Uni where you can use parent CPF money? If that is not an option then I have to warn you banks are very prompt in asking for payment right after you finish your studies. My fren went to Murdoch Uni in Perth and immediately come back they start ask for payment already interest included.
  
  For me use CPF money, there is a 1+ year allowance after we graduate where CPF dun chase payment. It is only after that 1+ year after then they chase payment. Anyway use CPF is pay them back to parents so ok. Use bank money is pay to bank very lugi

  For most Oz uni's its usually 2 sems a year, so the price they quote is based per sem. However some unis in Oz have their own standards, like Bond University, they have 4 sems a year for some courses. Don't ask me why.

  For local uni, they only charge you interest after you graduated.
