Recently I got a friend visiting me from overseas and commented that he bought the Nokia N70 at a very cheap price in one of the shops in Lucky Plaza.
Say everything comes in package... but must buy Memory card, ear piece and pouch to get the cheap price... Poor guy he didnt know the standard package should come with the memory card and earpiece. They took out everything only left the phone and charger in the box sia...

The guys selling electronics in Lucky Plaza are outcasts from Sim Lim Tower & Sim Lim Square. So go figure out what kind of people they are. They're as low-life as you can imagine. In the 1st place, I don't understand why people still buy electronics goods from there. You've Sim Lim Square, Funan, and the major electronics stores like Best Denki and Harvey Norman. It's really puzzling.

The authorities should go into Lucky Plaza with a large bottle of Industrial Strength bleach, and bleach out all these dirty stains in our Retail Fabric.

Exactly! In the 1st place, I've no idea why Lucky Plaza is still existing. I mean they should just revamp it and give it a better look with better tenants. But then, there'll be no place for Filipino maids to hang out. But do we care? It's a prime location! And the location deserves better. All the other major buildings are trying their best to revamp, while Lucky Plaza is doin' nothing. Still the same old shi-tty buiding.

I and my girl went there to get a camera, since we are leaving on a tour tommorrow.
Firstly, we told them that they had over quote us by 30%
. We told them that we are singaporeans.. so they reduced the price. Then told us that it does not include the carrier. ok.. after some wasted time they say we can have it. then we discover why no warrantee cert. They say that's the price for the reduction and should add $100 for it. WTF. Close the damn place down.
