ok....currently i'm studying in college and sitting for exam....the last semester i have fail three subject and so i decided to resit two paper this sem.....totally i take 8 subject this sem....the first paper i've done a lot of mistake....and the result would be on 50 50 fail or pass and i'm bit worried of the next 7 paper...i scared i will fail a lot of subject....my parents put a huge hope on me and i really don't wan't to make them dissapointed...because of the 1st paper i've lose confidence and sad....now depression.....how can i overcome this problem?i mean like thinking more positive or thinking the other way...?? what if i have to repeat the whole course if i fail a lot....a lot of things playing in my mind and the time is consuming now...i can't even concentrate in my preparation of my exam....please help if u really understand my feeling............many thanks in advance.....

i also feel like that sometimes. i think best is for u to go find a group of people to study with, i dunno abt u but nowadays i feel easily distracted studying by myself. from there, when u make the first step, the rest of the journey shdnt be too hard. good luck
Get a group of friends together and study together. It helps. Unless you are loner.
Focus on one subject per day. College subjects are not easy. Don't try to cramp all subjects into one day.
And know how to relax. If you feel that you can no longer take in more info, go out for a walk. Or if you have a bicycle, go cycle around your neighbourhood. It works for me. Do the things that best suit you.
go learn smoking and drink beer and womanizing..
no la kidding, yes, stop worrying and study now WHILE you still can..
don't end up regretting later, time is precious, study while you can, play while you can.. remember, whatever actions you choose, consequences you bear..
I understand how you feel.
It's a feeling of having experienced major failure. It makes you have doubts about urself. It makes u think that you, could in fact be, a failure. As a result you feel depressed and u feel low.
Following this, a challenge faces you. Because of that past experience, you face this challenge with doubts, with much non-confidence, with fear.

When people are succesful and everything goes smoothly, people party. When a failure strikes, people are taken aback. They think, they ponder. They spend time thinking on the whys and hows, and try to avoid failure again in the future. They learn. They dont do the same analysis or learning when they are succesful.
People remember pain more than pleasure. People want to avoid pain more than wanting to gain pleasure.
When you are faced with a failure, how u think and how you learn from it, will determine what kind of person you are. In this life.
It will determine how you face the next challenges. Will you be full of doubts and fear? Or full of confidence, determination, belief, and action?
Learn from it. Use it as your advantage. It can really be your gift.
