Eh.. the fact that her songs are not great poetry isn't her fault though. Loads of English speakers sing good mandarin songs. Tanya Chua is one of them. She started out in the English market but her mandarin songs are nice too.
Just pointing out that not.. ALL chinese songs are poetry, especially a lot of the popular songs nowadays. -

If her Chinese is not good thus she can't sing Chinese songs, then the same principle applies to you. If your English is not good, please don't write in English.
