Is Singapore a good place for old people?

My friend said that it's not. His mom can only walk slowly.
So, at the end, his mom just confines herself in HDB house.
and we keeps seeing old people working as cleaners in foodcourt, tealadies....
so, is singpaore a good place for old people? -

late retirement age, need to work very hard to reach CPF minimum sum, high standards of living etc.

singapore is an expensive place for old people, young people, every kind of people~

no.. very hard to survive. everything so expensive.. very bad in fact, not just not good. want retire, go to other country.

Singapore government doesn't even let mediacorp show films and dramas in dialects.

Now look, they realise the stupidity in our education system, and dropped the compulsary Mandarin as 2nd language ruling. Isn't it too late now that so many of us in my generation suffered because of poor marks in Mandarin? And we have so many young generations currently who graduated from university but can't speak or write well in English?
There will come a time, when our government will have to revise their CPF policies when a great many number of us migrate elsewhere to retire with our heard earned money. Not many of us wants to slog till 62 or 65 years old.
Even if you want to, who the hell will employ you at this age and with all the ailments you will have by then developed??
This lack of welfare (or consideration) for the old, is going to definitely affect the coming election. -

Everywhere is a good place for old people as long as they are fabulously rich and powerful. Otherwise everywhere is a bad place for old people if they are as poor as a churchmouse

i think with the same amount of money, old people in malaysia can stay in a better lifestyle than singapore.
