I live in Haarlem. That is the capital of North Holland. And it is very close to Amsterdam.Originally posted by HENG@:which part?
oh I know where that is. I passed by Haarlem on the way from Paris to Amsterdam by train. From Haarlem to Amsterdam by train is about 10 to 15 mins right? And Schiphol airport is somewhere inbetween Haarlem n Amsterdam on the train route.Originally posted by DuTcHMoRoCcAn!:I live in Haarlem. That is the capital of North Holland. Yest the first discribtion is totaly correct. I supose you took the Thalys? That takes 10 to 15 minutes. With the normal trains 15-20 minutes. It is also correct that Schiphol is in between both. A little bit in a village called Hoofdorp. But when you go by train, you won't pass Haarlem. You normally take a different train route. So you have been to Holland. How was it?Originally posted by HENG@:oh I know where that is. I passed by Haarlem on the way from Paris to Amsterdam by train. From Haarlem to Amsterdam by train is about 10 to 15 mins right? I took Thalys. Can't remember if we passed schiphol n haarlem on the same ride. we left amsterdam n went by train to antwerp so maybe that was when i passed schiphol. but i do think we passed both of themOriginally posted by DuTcHMoRoCcAn!:Yest the first discribtion is totaly correct. multi-cultural doesn't mean its top quality.Originally posted by DuTcHMoRoCcAn!:Hmm, that can be. I never travelled with the Thalys before.
Ok. But Isn't London as multicultural as Amsterdam? You can find al sorts of food. But how is London? I want to visit some cities within April. But I am still in doubt, wheter I should go to London, Paris, Barcelona, Milan ........ etc. etc.
Perhaps you should join Keith Floyd on his adventures.Originally posted by HENG@:multi-cultural doesn't mean its top quality.
the curry here can't compare to proper curry in asia. chinese food here is not as good as chinese food in singapore or HK. and the european food? its adequate, but european food is still the best
