at delifrance, you will get to enjoy singtel's outdoor wireless surf (ODWS) if your PDA has Wi-Fi. here is a list of
ODWS Wi-Fi locations. charges are per minute. ODWS is usually available at some community centres, hospitals, libraries, millenia walk, burger king, delifrance (but a lot of bistro outlets don't have i realised), gelare, spinelli and starbucks. am using ODWS now to surf, can tell you speed is okie, and usually you hog the whole bandwidth to yourself. may get the occasional disconnection.
mcdonald's do not have ODWS (except Tanglin Mall, SingPost Centre and a few more), but they have their own free-access skynetglobal service which you can use with your Wi-Fi PDA at no extra charge.
