Anyone heard any rumors regarding those who recieved the Be a Teacher letter by MOE? do share it here. I heard that those who scored below 20 for l1r5 will recieve the letter. Whats your take?

I received the army newsletter when I was still waiting for my o level result, it too left rumours and anxiety all around me!
I thought my points were gonna be so *!@^!*&@ that I would be permanently signing on, but it turned out that the points were pretty alright.
I guess MOE just randomly sends it out, or based it on prelim results. same applies for the teacher newsletter thingy

It's not a rumour, it's true. I received one last year when I took my O Levels in 2004. As long as you score below 20 for L1R4, you will receive it. it is based on prelim results, NOT O LEVEL results
So dont worry. My friend has called up MOE to check.. -

All those are pure rumours..some get while some not, it's random one..No one is supposed to know their result until the day it's released..

mai luan zhu kong way leh.. i got 10 pts for L1R5 last yr i also get the letter.. I tink they send letter randomly one.. My cousin get L1R5 21 also got letter..

last year also got this rumour....think last year one was that if you got between 15 to 17 L1r5 you will receive the letter...end up i got 15 points..my friend also receive the letter but got 23 for L1r5....so rumour true or not up to you

I got 16 for R5 but I never receive any.
I think it only has got to do with your mother tongue results. Or most likely it's random stuff. -

Cos as I have looked at papers recently, those applying for Chinese Studies at Ngee Ann Poly can also be teachers if they apply thru MOE
