Tell the truth - for 2 years I suffered like this - do the work while some team mates don't contribute. So I cracked and told the teacher who promptly gave them a zero for a project - so what if they hated me - like I give a shit .
If you don't learn to be assertive now in school - you will be a pushover at work . So take it as assertiveness training.
Yes they may hate you but SO WHAT? It is not your fault . Don't feel guilty . Just tell the truth - if she didn't even bother to make a contribution - teach her a lesson on how to be more responsible.
