what should i do??

i'm studying in college.....that was a coursework which my group member n me have completed....i am the group leader...then before i submit it to the office i decided not to write one of my member's name....and few of the member agree cause she did not want to contribute anything to the coursework....i have given her something to do but she refused and said "non of my business"....today the office call me and ask me why her name did not included in the coursework....n the office ask me to explain this tomorrow...should i tell the truth to the office and fails her....or help her and give some excuse like forgot to write her name.......if i tell the truth, she will fail that subject and need to retain for one year....that's mean she must take extra one year to graduate.....i wan't to tell the truth but feel a lil pity for her..and everybody in this world should know if u wan something u nit work it out...that is no way you get free thins without contribute something on it....what should i do??

If I were you in this situation, I would have make it clear to her that I will not include her name in the project the first time she gives me the indication that she didnt want to contribute to the project. I would just tell the truth if the office asked and let her repeat that one year. Why pity such idiots? Well unless she is a pretty babe then there is room for further discussion (The last sentence is a joke pls do not tk it seriously)...

I will include it her name. Then just say I forgot to put her name in. If teacher requires me to write a report, I will just complain in the report that she never do anything.

why didn't warn her before hand, now then want to exclude her name? it is too can ren to let her repeat one year IMO.

By telling management, you're worried about the nice guy image. By not telling, you feel that it's not fair to everyone.
The "rite" thing to do is to tell management, you might think. However, life is not always rite, if not never.
To eat your cake and still have it too, you'll have to put on a mask. Yes, be the bad guy but look like the opposite. Go to the management with her. When they asked you why, act hesitant as if to convey a message of reluctancy to tell on your team mate. When the message gets through, tell them you forgot. There you have it. -

Tell teh truth and i am sure that the person who will be retained will hate u forever. I believe that u shld just call your whole group for a meeting to decide what to do (include that person also). If u all decide to tell the truth at least the person will not onli hate u but yr other friends too.

Inform her that u will exclude her name..see what's her reaction..if she's regretful, u might want to consider giving her a chance

Tell the truth - for 2 years I suffered like this - do the work while some team mates don't contribute. If you don't learn to be assertive now in school - you will be a pushover at work . So take it as assertiveness training.
Yes they may hate you but SO WHAT? It is not your fault . Don't feel guilty . Just tell the truth - if she didn't even bother to make a contribution - teach her a lesson on how to be more responsible. -

i have told the truth....it goes like this....the teacher in charge said want to see all of the group member to dicuss about this....and since my group member did not want to go for the meeting then they disperse the decision making on me....so i just tell the truth and the teacher ask me few times whether i want to let her get the marks or not....and i said no way......and before the meeting, one of her friends sms me.....it sounds like this....."can u help sk(her name) 1 time cos if not she'll repeat!!!tell ms tey that i do assignment with her....." but i didn't bother the message.....she fails for that subject and need to retain for 1 year.....file closed and thanks everybody....
