3 years ago... when SYF was near, there was an annoucement during our assembly in the morning... the teacher annouced that Bowen's Band Instructor died... Then the entire school "YEAH!"... I was WTF?!!!!

School rivalries are one thing, but to cheer the death of another is totally abhorrent. This is childishness in its extreme. I dare them to face the family members of the teacher who died. I'm betting dollars to donuts that they don't have the gonads to do it. If they do, then it just shows that they're a bunch of eunuchs who don't have an ounce of humanity within them.
In the first place, why the friggin' hell was that piece of news announced during school assembly? Don't tell me that it was for the sake of objective information, for it doesn't concern that school at all if you discount the petty rivalry. -

if the kids are rejocing over someone's death, just listening, of course will make one feel that the kids are childish...
but what if you look at things from their point of view??
if the teacher who has just died, usually treats them badly in school, then that is different case liao le...
kids will always be kids, they express themselves directly, don't bother to hide their feelings...which is a plus point...not like as we grow older, we have to learn what to tell what not to tell...in order to have more friends instead of enemies in school and work...its better to be kids...
think in their point of view...

The typical S'porean kid, what can you expect from them when they're brought up to be selfish, loud, boorish and kiasu, etc, by their loser parents. Parents nowadays (mostly about 30+ or 40+) are doing a sh.it job. They know nothing about bringing up kids compared to the past. They think by having money, they can talk loudly and are entitled to do anything. They should be hanged. -
