  How come nobody kena the "new age" treatment ah?
  
  THings like "counselling" or "nurturing" things where, "new age" peopel will work more effectively than caning and beating?
  
  For me last time primary school, if i know the law better, i think have a case to bring to Ministry of Community development liao...
  
  some teacher go and call home saying i haven't hand in homework and failing in school, then cane until legs blue black blood come out.... then i too pai seh to go school with the cane marks....
  
  yup... not surprising.. kena caned on top of the cane marks i got the few days before.... this time for playing truant.
  
  That time i really feel like running from home but dunno how to. So started hunger strike.... mom tell me, "die better"
  
  till today emotional scars still on me ah.

  caning is ok... but cannot just cane nia leh...
  
  must make sure the kid noe what he did wrong..
  
  what my father did was.. he'd cane.. den he'd tell u to go think what it was that u did wrong
  
  and it took quite a few beatings for us to realise what it was we did wrong
