how long can a shop owe u goods?

  as above... i paid for something at a shop & after tat they told me they dun hav the stocks now..will call me when it arrives. i waited a mth now & during this period of time, i went back to the shop to ask if the goods has come. they keep telling me to come back next fri, which the goods will be delivered. i already went back 3 times liao & they keep saying the same thing.
  
  the last time i went back, they tell me cny period...hav to wait after cny...
  
  i am really fed up now...either i get my goods or i get back my money.

  it was something else tat i bought together with some other things on tat day.

  You don't pay for the full amount first, you put a deposit, they issue you a receipt for it, and both of you sign on it to acknowledge that a deposit has been made.

  See the sales terms on your agreement signed. If no agreement signed, the shop can simply default your purchases.
