I think lobsters if overcooked can be rubbery. Crabs if overcooked, the flesh/meat soften and may disappear into your soup or gravy. You may end up having the shells only.
And yah, the price too. -
Precisely, Seriously I don't detect a big difference in taste between the Crayfish and lobster.. maybe the lobster is slightly sweeter in sashimi style. Taste like diluted prawn lor.. not worth the price. But lobster sashimi is nice.. but cost about $100-130 for a good size one. Prawns taste better and nicer texture. i guess they used the yolk of the salted egg and beat it together with butter to make a creamy butter sauce.. mmmmm.. bellissimo! -

the supermarket here (Oz) sells lobsters, small ones, at A$14.95 each

Lobster usually cost between $30 - $80 at Super Markets. Easily available at Carrefour.
I prefer Crayfish Meat over Lobster Meat cause I'll cook the same way and Crayfish cheaper cause it doesn't have such a huge head like the Lobster.
