Twitching Eye Lids

WHo here believes in the fortunes/ misfortunes of eye lid twitching...
By the way, forgot which is which.. from things that has been happening, i think twitching of the left eyelid is a bad thing.. but seems also like there is a differentiation on whether the twitching occurs on the top or bottom eyelids..
anyone else here have similar experiences and encounters? -
It's true. My father complained about his twitching eyes once then hours later my great grandmother passed away.

I get twitching eyelids under periods of extreme stress.
You know, exams, heavy workload, that sort of thing.
It was at its worse when my friend took his own life two years ago.

I once went to see a specialist doctor (ophthal...whats that...ophthalmologist?) because of twitching problem of nearly a week. After a few exams he said it was due to stress. True enough, after a while it disappeared. At that time I was under stress including not having enough sleep.

when i look at the com screen for the whole day my eyes will start to twitch too

My eyelid twitch and I see the obituary page the next day...a lot of ppl died.

last year.. shortly after my gf birthday, my left eyelid twitched.. and i find that somehow it was always a bad thing.. and then it really happened.. we broke off.. and another time.. same thing.. left eyelid twitched.. and learnt that my grandfather passed away..
somehow i come to rely on this.. something like an intuition.. a fore-warning to take extra precaution..
lately right eyelid twitching. and also observed that if i relaxed a little and free my mind of things.. i pick up this twitching more.. now left and right eyes both got... so good and bad things ahead??

Eyelid twitching fortune telling is based on the chinese 12 hours divided into left and right -
No matters when and how I twitch ...
nothing happens ...
seems like it's not affecting me ....

Sometimes it is just coincidences, people. Do not find comfort in other's experiences so that you can relate it to yours. That's how superstitions occur. Just because bad incidents coincide with the twitching of your eye lids, doesn't mean you have to believe in the superstitions. What about those bad incidents you people have, but your eye lids do not twitch? How do the superstitions explain that?

i cant rmb whether its left eye or right eye twitching that means good things gonna happen
so whenever either eye twitch, i presure good things are gonna happen

like some have put it.. things may still happen even without twitching..
for me.. my experience is that a left twitch is associated with bad things..
i do exprience twitching on the right.. but so far.. cant really see any good things coming out of it.. -

well.. it kinda depend on which way you want it to work for you actually.. if you cant control it and makes it distract your focus then its bad.. but if you channel it to better use, things may be better then if you were to act without pressure at all..Originally posted by finoq:so....pressure is bad ain't it? -
