  That was what happened to me but I rejected them outright coz I think I am not very handsome leh.

  where got they look at face one? if u fit body requirements enuf liaw.. some models good figure but not pretty face right?

  For me,models should have a good face.I have an above average bod but my face is average only,so I don't think I cut it la.

  I got approach by one grp before and they hand me a namecard. It seems like they are trying to recruit ppl cos they are giving to anyone they see. You want to be model, go to modelling agency and ask.

  my friend is a model. his mum make him enter modelling agency. now, he wear pretty odd clothes for a 19-yr-old and spends S$200+ on clothes monthly.
  
  and girls add him like crazy on friendster! i think he is on his 7th fster account now.

  models body cannot too powderfull....pects cannot too big but abs must be defined and symmetric, delts must be defined also... high trapezius is a no-no...if u overtrain dat part there goes ur career...

  my friend is not even 178 and not muscular. he's just lean. good-looking ah. malay + chinese mix.

  Jus go surf webbie, and find out more bout e agency lor..
  
  most prob they will ask u to send in a pix of urself, stats etc...
  
  then will ask u go for interview..
  even if u dun have height or stats, they will analyse on case by case basis..
  eg having nice face wld b good for photoshoots, a good frame for runways..etc.
  
  however there will always b hidden costs:
  eg. portfolio, package, lessons (basic n advance catwalk trainings)...to enter e agency
  
  so there is no cheap way to enter a agency unless u are really perfect.
  
  u can try, but no one guarantees u a success in this line..

  got a point, im nt intending to turn pro or somethin. just do as a part-time thing to hav some xtra cash...coz some of my frenz say i can go try, and some ask if im model...so watever jz do for fun while im still young

  well, jus to let u know...
  
  competition is v stiff here in SG. so many wld b v willing to go paid-less.
  if u r looking for money, then prob u wldnt earn alot. unless u are real good.
  
  good that u take it as a sideline, cos pay doesnt come on time. sometimes, cant even get back. or...u will go hungry..
  
  there are many stuff u need to buy to upkeep ur appearance, e basic clothings that u need for auditions etc. so...u'd already need to spend even before u enter e biz. recovery of ur 'losses' will take time

  better be safe than sorry. when your pre-op trans you have to be extra careful not to get into any accdients. there was a case of this ambulance crew in the UK that just laughed at this pre-op trans woman and refused to help her after she got into a road accdient. she died on the spot.

  I think modelling really doesn't consider a person's figure or look.
  It really depends on what kinda model they're looking for the advertisement or shooting. Say... if the theme is hawker centre Char Kway Tiao entrepreneur then they may be looking for a fat guy that doesn't look special.
  
  But of coz, let not talk abt those Men's Health/Men's Uno/Urban kinda Prince charming ones lar hehe.

  I think another criteria is that you must be shaved/relatively hairless.

  I have 2 pack instead of 6 pack.
  
  My traps are coming up very well after doing heavy rack work for the past 3 months.
  
  Anyway,if I wanna model,I think I can do topless back photoshots.
