high pay? wat yr cert? vocational? dipl? degree? if u got mechanical engineering in aero industries most probably work in large workshop and hangar repair areas. i have been to interview in one big organization in sg that deals with manufactturing and maintainence of aero equipment and parts and the boss show me to the place...large several storye high with deferent sections doing different machining and maintenace of aeroplane parts and compoenents...QC and testing too.
if u in to aero engineering most probably u be sitting in an aircon office doing documentation and paper work ensure no discrepant in drawings nd engineering related papers so as to ensure a smoother production and correct quality inspection methods. u may also be updating changes and modifications to a part design and most probably will attend EC related meetings with co-workers from other departments and yr superiors in all engie=neering related aspects....err...since in aero industries sometimes may have to make a trip or 2 to the maintenencae workshop or hangar areas to work with maintenance engineers there.
the one other electro-mech or mechatronice/ electronics engineering/ manufacturing field i know that requires u to work in aircon environment is cleanroom..or any manufacturing plant that operates with machinery that requires specifics room temperature, humidity and conditions.....i know raw plastic injection factory may be otherwise as the process of heating up and melting resins raises the surronding temperature. i have also seen such factories in warm and dusty working conditions
