neutral. but i do hope they can do much more to improve their competitiveness... lots of noises made but when it comes to details, it's not refined.

It has beautiful rainforests, nature reserves, dive spots, majestic mountains, rustic kampongs. It has beach resorts, and mountain resorts. Many people I've met there are generally friendly, and helpful.
I am so glad we're near Malaysia so we won't be stuck in concrete jungle all the time and it's not too expensive or far to visit.
I'm also glad we're near Malaysia cos they've got huge plantations, so we get our daily food at reasonably low cost.
Sure, the city is crowded, the traffic jam can be awful, the politics mind boggling, efficiency can be improved and all that - but think the good points far outweigh all that. -

hmm... malaysia is okay to me la.. just that the laws r not strict and the streets are never safe, not as safe as singapore.

While the media do potray a lot of violence in other countries, people who had been to these countries will tell you high crime rates are contained only in certain areas or districts. Like in Malaysia, the rural towns arent as chaotic as JB. -

The crimes there are scary.
But what I find scarier, is their corrupted Police who also have a sadistic streak in them.

Generally, I'm neutral. But I would comment that their crime rates are on the high side and that the way it's being lawless, it's pretty scary at times.

I'm more impressed with China- how even the smaller cities have developed- the no. of highrise condos & megas shopping malls, the expressways, the cars on the roads.
Everyone seems to be there- LV, Esprit, Gucci, Ferrari, even S'pore companies! -
Well for me at least i like one place in malaysia - GENTING HIGHLANDS. Thats about all
