You'll have to manually extract all the episodes from the VCDs. They are usually .DAT files in the MPEG?? folder on the VCDs. So extract the episodes (Some .DATs are those credits and junk stuff) and rename the .DAT to .mpg. Then you can burn DVDs using a CD burning software and simply drag the MPG files in.Originally posted by babymac13:Tell her to burn CD to CD, then shld not have any problem watching regardless on the computer, VCD or DVD player.

Then burn them as DVD video
Your method is risky, could end up with some codec errors.Originally posted by chanff8:You'll have to manually extract all the episodes from the VCDs. No. Data discs are for computers and certain players capable of displaying folder and file paths.Originally posted by babymac13:Can VCD player read mpg files when u burn as data?
Not really. I've tried it many times before. Cos when you burn VCDs its converted into mpg format first. This is why the CD burning software straight away burn mpg files into VCDs, while burning other formats like avi the CD burning software will take time to encode it first.Originally posted by photo_seeker:Your method is risky, could end up with some codec errors.
