  take a look at sunshine plaza. otherwise, search through yahoo auctions.

  actually departmental stores also have transformers. just walk around tampines central.

  Wad types u looking for? Collector types, go Sunshine Plaza lor, else, can head to your departmental stores (eg Seiyu)

  Ooh... Alternator Deadend ar... I do know Metro do bring in some Alternators.
  
  But your best bet would be...
  
  Lucky Plaza <- got 1 toy shop at second storey.
  Far East Plaza <- got 3 toy shops at the top few storeys.
  Sunshine Plaza <- Full of toys lah.
  China Square Central <- also full of toys.

  hi there man, i was into these alternators series quite awhile ago...but s'pore sell
  damn ex. Around 70 to 80 bucks...
  
  I bought that black viper in HK for HK128 which is equivalent to sg30.
  
  Btw, there are 2 versions. Jap version called binaltech which is made of steel casting and English version called alternators which is fully plastic de
  
  Jap Version, I last time saw at cineplex there on the same floor as pastamania. Eng version u can go find at toys r us

  binaltechs are almost 80-90, but worth collecting.
  
  i don't get binaltechs which weren't close to the original form.
  
  so i just have masterpiece convoy, meister, hound and smokescreen.
  
  wheeljack and prowl were too fugly to me... so i didn't get those.

  Alternators lehz... quite big also... BUT I suggest you dun get Hasbro's, please get Takara's Binaltech or Binaltech Asterisk.
  
  Binaltech or BT is the Japanese counterpart of Alternators. The quality better as in more die-cast part if any, and better paintjobs and better quality plastic. Always buy Japanese counterpart, its quality is higher. At least to me.
  
  Binaaltech Asterisk or BTA is the new Binalteck series, it consists of previous Binaltech recoloured and repackaged with a female figure, erm... you know whenever you go car shows, got those girls in sexy clothes right. Ya lah, something like that. The figures have interchangable legs, so that you can pose them standing or sitting in the car.

  Well... Hasbro's mostly plastic... so definately no paintchips... Takara's diecast might chip... and I heard Binaltech, chip very easily when transforming...
  
  But you prefet plastic or diecast... and Hasbro's paintjob and plastic quality is not known to be very good either...

  given a trophy, would a metal one or a plastic one feel better?
