hey peeps.....
i recently encounter a problem with my mircosoft internet explorer....whenever i open the explorer, the whole system will suddenly juz lag n the whole system will slow down n become v laggy....even when i surf net, the webpage dat i try to scroll is also v laggy.....any explaination for this problem?......when i use mozilla firefox the system works fine.....
anyone can help me in response to my question?....i m using microsoft ME n my internet explorer is version 6........thanx........ -
the only help i can give to u,is screw ie..go download another web brower like firefox etc..

Either you reinstall IE or screw it
Should use Firefox. I used it and never turn back to IE at all

Firefox is quite good, but should keep IE around because some websites can't load properly with firefox. dunno abt Opera though.

use IE foe websites which dont load properly in firefox. Imo IE is too risky biz to use..

The ONLY way is download a recent (not latest) copy of Windows Antispyware which has a bug. It'll recognise Internet Explorer as a spyware and remove it from your computer.

Switch to Opera. I've switched over and never regretted. Faster loading times, instant back/forward page, flexible JS control, instant turn-off-all-images on a button click, aggressive caching, and even folks at F-Secure weblog use Opera to visit malicious sites to further investigate it.
Faster, more secure. Do what is right. Serve mankind. -
Firefox is the way ...don quite lyk opera and avant coz they hav a more 'IE' feel....

I think IE still needed for certain sites, other than that, use FireFox as your main browser

Maybe can try adding RAM to solve it. But will still lag if it is draining your computer's resources. One way to overcome it is to use Firefox or Opera or any other browsers you trust.
Another thing is check for spywares and all. Sometimes it is due to those spywares and adwares. -

How i love the movable tabs in 1.5
I checked and seems like firefox consume 32MB of RAM...
Adding a tab to FF adds 2 or 3MB only
While IE takes 24 or 25MB for each window... -

Opera got IE feel, if you don't switch the view. They let you choose whether you want IE, Firefox or Opera way of viewing the websites. By default, it is set to IE.
