  Don't make students in temporary jobs contribute to CPF. Raise the age for mandatory contribution to 21 years
  
  I am sure that many students who are waiting for their GCE O-level and A-level results are now working in temporary jobs.
  
  I share the plight of many students who have to part with 20 per cent of their salary and contribute it to the CPF.
  
  Isn't it pointless to cut off one-fifth of our pay when we are working during the short holiday period just to get the extra income? Why not raise the mandatory age for CPF contribution to 21 years? It makes much more sense this way.

  i guess he didnt understand how much our govt needs our cpf for their overseas investments.

  fully agreed Students earn so little and still have to contribute CPF, can wait until they are earning a full-time income.

  hi. i have a part time job and i have to contribute to CPF. i am 19 and is waiting for A levels. contribute CPF left nothing...

  I heard that as long as you earn more than $200 a month, you need to contribute CPF.

  $50 for wages for one calendar month (13% CPF for 50 yrs and below, 11% up to 55, 6% for 55 yrs & above).

  can't find the relevant statures to confirm this: NSF also don't need to pay CPF. regulars not sure.
