if it is... then i tink i m gonna go JC liao..cuz i dun wanna slack and fail all my exams.

diff ppl have diff ways of enjoying poly life
dun bother abt the rest lah
think of wat u relli want -
well you will know when you go poly... well if you take part in a sports CCA in poly i don't think you will have time to slack lolx anyway when projects come you will feel the stress liaoz

i myself i not a slack person... i very chiong one...secondary school days..if the test is nxt week wednesday...i will strat revising on the previous week friday...not slack de... but .but i m worried that i hang out wiff the wrong company and could not pull out and in the end faill all my modules and make all my lectures hate me....

if u have the self discipline and maintain the way u've been studying, why be bothered by the culture of poly? it up to yourself to be led astray.
if u are really concerned to be failing in poly, follow the china students there, they will lead u to distinction.

u memorize all the notes and go exams pass wif flying colors u call that hardwoking?
u worry about hanging out wif the wrong pppl? one who can tell and refrian from mixing wif good and bad company will not say that he/she is afraid of mixing wif bad company

Yes, I'm stereotyping.
There are poly students that can get 5~6 differnt scholarship awards and JC students that can't even pass a single paper. You decide on how you wanna study and how you lead your life. It depends on the individual in the end.
But from the way you describe yourself, JC is they way for you. -
I suggest you going to MI. It's similar to 3 year in JC. In there you still need to study but not as mad as JC student.

There are 3 types of students in Singapore,
Those who only memorise notes and formulaes... memorise answer scheme and call it studying. Commonly known as the nerd in school.
Those who sit around shake leg and bo hiew anything... You term them as slackers.
But there are those who knows how to enjoy life and yet know their goals in life very well. You THINK they are slackers cause they study when they are away from people. -

Pls look at the far sight. U dun choose poly or jc depending on whether the students on more or less "slacking". It depends on whether you u wan to be?
If you plans to study in any NUS, NTU or SMU, it's more likely u opt for a JC, on the other hand, if u have specific interest like filming, mobile computing and stuffs that at the moment, the local unis do not offer, consider polytechnic as a better choice. For example, in NP, they are offering chinese mass communication diploma, which is currently not available in any of Us for what i know in Singapore.
I think this is far more impt ur own future than whether you consider ur future classmates' slackness.
Think in the long run.
Think what you want to achieve in ur life and set goals to realise them.
Remember ur future hold in ur hands. -

ok i have to admit there r more lazy ppl in poly than in jc cause of freedom
i myself admitted that i became very lazy when i come poly..when i was in sec i can study but in poly, just cant concentrate..most ppl in my class n even course pontank classes like no ones business..last wed (after cny holiday) was actually a day of lect but only 10% turn up cause next day is openhouse which is holiday..
i kinda regretted joining poly....wad i think is if u got capability to go jc go for it.. -

think they r the best in Singapore
everything also want student price
nerdy and quite botak (for guys especially)
so rude and stone?
trying to suck up, and stuck up

look so slack
