jus skip all the 8am lectures....... -
most of them will treat the hostel as their second home and continue to stay in during weekend due to studying in library or cca.
but some of them actually live near the hall as well, and they just treat hall as a holiday resort and not comfortable to share room wif roomie.
why you ask? starting a plan of stalking that gal?

anyway,back to ur qn..one thing u have to note:she has to pay for her boarding fees.
and some hostel fees can be real high.
i doubt she would just stay sometimes at the hostel and go home.which means bro...
u have a good chance of seeing her again.

im plannin to apply for one oso.. but then, issit the people at the hostel v busy with activities den no time to study 1? cauz thats what i heard fr my seniors..

During my times in order to get subsequent year rights to stay hostel you muz accumulate points and join Hall activities and games. Hence for some ppl they over focus on sports and activities and their studies suffer as a result.
However it is strictly depending on individual. I got 2 frens in NTU met their present wives during those Hall games. So you neber know what you get. And they get hitched faster than non-hostelite cuz after graduate they already plan on marriage and babies as their parktor stage is during the Uni.
I am a non-hostelite and hence I get my wife slower than them but I intend to catch up on them with babies hahaha....
Sidenote: Some ladies dun like give birth so even marry for > 5 years still no babies. It is either cannot or dun wan so go figure. -
Stay Hall must participate activities unless you pays as a boarding student which cost much more though
