Which course should I pick?

I don't know got what course at where but I know what I want..
I would like anything to with Business, Financing, Marketing or anything that is similar with it
Because I want to start my own business next time and try to earn money rather than earning 2,000 peanuts as a accountant
Prefebably at TP,SP or RP because Tp is 15min from my house.. Tampines MRT is 5min from my house so can take MRT to Dover or take 168 to Woodlands from 30 to 45mins -
Business related courses most people will recommend SP. TP's business course is ok lah... but I'll go for SP instead. RP I don't know

I would first ask myself what kind of business I want to own in the future. eq. if I want to own food processing business then i will go to food processing or If I want to start an engineering business then I will go to engineering course. My reason is that poly will provide me with knowledge on the know how (pratical aspect ). Business course may teach you how to run a business but the question will still be what kind of business.

If cannot make it then.. Earn enough to let family live a good life, Can buy things for kids.. Wife stay at home take care of kids

Pioneer in business studies, with most intakes and first choice that most students made last yr...and also best in accountancy. -
u dun have to take up such courses to be an entrepreneur.
many successful entrepreneurs are not educated or dun specialize in business course.
what will u learn in business studies? accounting and accounting analysis, costing, financing, entrepreneurship, marketing, human resource, macro and micro economics, business statistics, business management etc etc.. u will gain knowledge of all that.. but will u apply them to ur business? not necessary. -

I remember when i first went for their open house, their students told me 'if u wana pass ur exams, come to SP, easiest papers here.'
that set me thinking.. easiest paper? then what is the weightage of their diploma?

There was a guy Paul who studied and obtained a Master Degree in Business & Finance. After that, he went on a holiday in Hawaii. He was on the beach and he saw a man who could catch a few big fishes within a short time everyday.
This man would stop fishing after about 4 fishes and would pack up and go. So Paul decided to talk to this man. He asked the man why he would stop fishing after about 4 fishes. The man said that he would bring home 2 fishes home for the family and sell the other 2 fishes at the market for money. After that he would look for his friends to play chess or buy some voldka for himself.
Paul decided to advise this man with his business skill. He told the man that he should catch more fishes to sell for more money. With the money, he could buy a boat so that he could catch even more fish. Then with the more money he could buy a fleet. He should also set up a fish stall to sell the fish himself to do away with the middle man. With the even more money, he could start a coldroom to keep all the fishes. He could also start a factory to process the fish and make even more money. Then after that he can retire.
So the man asked Paul what he would do after he retire. Paul said that after he retire, he could just look for his friends to play chess or buy some voldka for himself. The man asked Paul how long it will take before he can retire and do the above, Paul estimate that it would take about 20 years.
