A discussion on Valentine's day

Just wondering on your opinion on Valentine's day:
Is Vday just a waste of time and money? Or is it a dedicated day, a timeframe, to remind us of how much our loved ones mean to us and to show them that we care by doing something special?
Would you prefer to celebrate Vday or njust let it pass as another day? (for people concern about the $$ part, Vdae can be belated or celebrated earlier by a bit.. the main point here is, to celebrate or not...)
