Fund raising event in school.

I know that many different schools have different way of raising funds for example calling the student to ask around for money. Recently my school have a spate of fun raising event.
Firstly its the card thingy given out before chinese new year. Okay its reasonable as the school students will have the spare time to go and plead for donations.
Secondly the funfair. Students were told to plan the fun fair long ago however they only give out the coupons for the fun fair 5 day before the fun fair. None of the 5 days are holiday, how will the student be able to sell them. Worst on the third day they announce that they want the student to pay for the coupons which amount to $30. They say eitherwe sell it or we absorb the cost. Furthermore there is rumor that we have to absorb the cost of setting up the stall.
I personally feel its quite unfair what do u think of this forum mates and do u think such doing are legal. -

i am damn #%^$^ abt it loh. 4 days to raise the money what the hell. Furthermore the teacher still dare to say its not about profit.

haha.. we are in the same school... totally agree lor.. i think most of the people is buay song about this... ya the cost price of our goods will not be returned!! arggghh... its like no matter how much we sell .. we will still be making a lose... This year is like money sucking year lor.. still got the countless enrichment.. CLAO, times mag, straits times, the card, this $30 and the cost price.. This is NOT FUND RAISING lor... its we students forking out to the school... yucks
