Can combined my "O" levels results to enter Pre-U?

3. What is the purpose of Form A and when will I receive it?
If you are a School Candidate and are eligible for the JAE, you will receive your Form A from your secondary school on the day of the official announcement of the examination results. Form A contains the JAE PIN to students who are eligible to participate in the JAE. It also contains the examination results, with the course codes for all the courses that the student is eligible to apply under the JAE, based on your
i. 2005 Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination results only, or
ii. A combination of one past year and 2005 Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination results. (The results of both examinations are automatically combined in Form A for students who had used the same Singapore NRIC Number / Student Identification Number for both sittings).
If you are a Singapore Citizens/Permanent Residents (SC/PR) who have sat for the 2005 Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination as Private Candidates and are eligible for the JAE will receive their Form A by post on the same day. -

Haha I know....this is the 3rd time I retook my maths and subsequently i combined them with my "O"levels result from 2003...
In the JAE system, i was given all the poly courses to choose but it says that i am not eligible for Pre-U course...? I got 20 L1R4 still i dun understand why.....

you need a L1R5 of 20 points and below to qualify.
you may be able to qualify for MI with L1R4 of 20. -

if u're serious about going to MI, head down to MOE tomorrow morning from 8am to 1pm and confirm with the staff, who will print you a new Form A. you may also have to apply manually, but that is worth all the trouble.Originally posted by Texcoco II:"MI" column are listed in the JAE system and it says I am not eligible!
do bear in mind that you will spend 3 years, the same duration as a poly diploma course. -

now u noe why MI is not listed in ur Form A liao.... u need A1/A2 for all ur R4/R5(JC), if not ur L1R4/L1R5 cannot be higher than 15.... since when they changed the rules.... -

u might want to consider those HMT students who took their MT 'O' Levels exam in sec 3 but they can still combine tat result in their JAE... -
