Singaporean injured after attack in Desaru resort

SINGAPORE : A Singaporean was injured in Desaru, Johor, after he was attacked at the Golden Beach Resort on Wednesday evening.
Businessman Ow Peng Seang sustained stab wounds to his stomach following the attack by two men at the car park of the resort.
While nothing was stolen from him or his Singapore-registered Lexus, Malaysian police have not ruled out attempted robbery as one of the motives for the attack.
Mr Ow was initially admitted to a hospital in Johor Baru, but has since been transferred to Singapore General Hospital. - CNA/de -
