  Can i enter into Jc science stream if i did not take A-maths in secondary sch?

  u must get A2 and above for E. Maths. and u need to work real hard.

  may i add that while the rest have only a hurdle to overcome(that is, frm A. Maths to C. Maths). you would have 2(frm E. Maths to A. Maths to C. Maths) in the same time frame.
  
  my friend kena repeat year 1 coz' it was hard for her.

  YES, but you have to take AO Maths (which is agar-agar same as Add. Maths). However, there are few choices available if you wan to take science subjects.... and AO Maths, cos usually the combinations come with Maths C. tat's where the trouble begins. good luck.

  i jus checked, this yr is under new 'A' levels syllabus liao. very luan for us old students....
  
  'AO' maths is now H1 Mathematics.
  Maths C is now H2 Mathematics.
  H3 Mathematics is Further Maths?
  
  but since i did not spot any JCs offering Maths at H1, i think just go for it. maybe those who have been through PAE will noe better.

  i think sajc used to offer science with AO maths.... but u study econs as one of ur science lah... wat they called the 'commerce' combi, though the term is long gone...

  Preferably is to have A Maths, because the Maths you are learning are very difficult. Usually Science Stream students will take C and F Maths, which requires A Maths foundation.

  depending on which JC, bcos they allow different combis
  
  u can take
  double sci, C maths, econs
  triple sci, C maths
  1 sci, C maths, Econs + chinese A or higher chinese

  NO triple science is already bad
  NO Add Maths already very bad.
  LOW knowledge of current affairs is also bad

  Diploma also can progress for degree what... and diploma can serve as a back up plan lest you fail to get your degree.
  
  But this is my personal opinions la... and since diplomas allow you to specialise... which makes it even more attractive imo
