If someone in proj didnt do anything..will u mark him down in peer assessment?
feel like doing it but .... wad if cher call the whole grp n ask us to explain how? our grp has 5 person, n that guy has 3 friends in our grp too, his friends did contribute but he didnt..if we were to explain his friends will sure back him up n i have only 1 guy to back me up..how? -

I wouldn't... not because he has friends... more of a live and let live mentality i always have...
except... my report will have alot of double meanings and very subtle remarks about his contribution. -
really depends on what matters more: his/his friend's friendship to you, or justice.

Find some allies in the group , someone who can back u up . If not , discuss with the group . I'm sure even his friends will not be too happy with him not doing any work .

Well, had encountered the same thing as you. I told him off infront of the class, and infront of the tutor as well.This type of surfers should be taught a lesson, they just bloody study their exams and tests, but projects leave others to do but get the grade.Its juz damn unfair. And people like me, cannot perform that well in academic paper, but project always get B and above, will suffer. So since he never contribute, I told him off. In the end, he got marked down.

i wont mind. cos you never know if in the future you have to do project with him again or not.

anyway... peer assessment thingy suppose to be a secret thing mah.
the lecturer is not suppose to call you guys up and ask you all to explain it...

4 groups in my module kana.
and we all thought they were A students, apparently, its always 1 guy who bo chap. -
