5 mins adverts & 6-8 mins of TV program

I feel very frustrated and a big waste of my time to watch TV programs on our cable television. Just switch on any of your programs (except for BBC channel 13, live football matches and paid movie channels) and I bet that you'll see advertisements running for as long as 5 minutes.
Every time I try to watch a cable program, I get irritated & my blood pressure rises a few notches. So just now I've decided to terminate all my cable TV programs with immediate effect.
I wonder if any of you folks feel the same frustrations like I do.

I thought all movies stay comercial free until the end, and then they have a lot of advertisments before the next movie?

Errr, let me see, natgeo and discovery the most 4 commercial breaks max out at 4 mins each break.
vv drama and vv drama+3 0 commercial breaks during their dramas. chinese star movies no commercials at all, even after movie finish its trailers being broadcasted.
AXN sucks coz whenever I switch to that channel its either CSI, 24, or numbers. -
Local channels more cham.
Realised the malaysian channels have less ads.. -

If you watch Fox News, Star Hub channel 75, you surely vomit blood......in between 5-6 mins of news they show the world weather forecast for about 5 mins. I think that is the most dumb thing to do!
CNN, channel 14 and CNBC channel 15, for every 6 mins of telecast, they show 5 mins of adverts! Blardy rubbish!
I once called up Star Hub to complain and they had the cheek to tell me blame it on CNN & CNBC. That is bullshit! -
I think subscribing to cable to watch news is pure rubbish itself.

I think everybody should terminate their SCV subscriptions to give them a wake-up call!
This is the only way to get them to shorten their advertisements time and to decrease their frequency! -
It is the news ppl fault what. Anyway, I channel 5 news at 9.30 is good enuff liao! Hehe.

oh my gosh, is this still happening. i used to hate it too when i have cable many many years when it was first launched. everytime i watch cartoon network, the stupid commercials will pops up at the starting of the show. till now they haven't wake up their idea? i'm shocked.
