Constable Acai to replace HeartLanders sequel ?

heh.. I feel that the stories in the Constable Acai books are more exciting den those shown on Triple 9 and Heartlanders! MediaCorp ought to produce a new police drama series abt Acai! Tay Ping Hui can act the role of Acai( he's more muscular den Vincent Ng and looks nicer with a moustache )! Taufik Batistah can act the role of Constable Jamal- Acai's partner!

I dunno.... Mediacorp has a way of messing up its English dramas.
Everytime when it seems that they've scraped the bottom of the barrel of quality, another stinker of a drama comes along and busts out the bottom.
Unless they can convince me that they won't screw up Constable Acai (and that's a lot of convincing for them to do), my answer is a profound NO. -

Waah... Constable Acai sure brings back lots of childhood memories... used to enjoy reading the Acai stories back in the 80s... Every story would have a few children (remember one of them is called Ravi) who will encounter some crime then at the end of the story there will be a section of "police advice".

1)He nv gets a promotion or raise
2)He lives at Marine Parade
3)He's married (but no kids )
4)His partners are Constable Jamal and an Indian Constable (forgot his name , dunno where i put the book le.. )
5) He's highly skilled in Kung Fu
6) He never uses his gun before
7) The neighbourhood kids call him Uncle Acai
8 ) They always ask to speak to Constable Acai when they make a police report
9) Acai plays soccer
10 ) Acai organize outings for the kids
11) whenever someone kana robbed, the 1st person he/she'll bump into when seeking help is Acai
12) Acai was once knocked unconcious by a gangster from the back but the gangster fled when a kid saw it from his block and yelled loudly. Acai was spared from having his gun stolen.
13)Acai's superior is Station Inspector John..an Ah Pek.
