question of servicing overseas handphone..

i bought my Sony Ericsson Z800i from Hong Kong without a warrity card.. now the flipping part and camera is spoilt.. am i able to service my phone at local Sony Ericsson service centre..?

They will charge you for materials and labour, add gst, as to how much, you're better off asking at the counter.

my nokia is overseas. the nokia centre that i went to doesnt have my parts. they brought some over from another centre. i changed my lcd screen for under $40.
sometimes they wont know the charges until they open your phone and examine it really closely. you can tell them to give you a call after they examined your phone to confirm the charges before they proceed with the repair. so that your budget wont be exceeded. oh. there are charges for examining even if you decided not to carry on with repair.
mine is... i think $25 for examining? another $12 for lcd? roughly la. -
can service but no int or local warranty so musy pay...
