What u feel about the El Mariachi movies..

El Mariachi - 1992 (never seen)
Desperado - 1995 (awesome and stylish!)
Once upoun a time in Mexico - 2003 ( average)
simply like the cool ideas of a guy with a guitar and an attitude problem - like as if he came back to settle the score with someone. Anyone. ...EVERYONE.. walks into a pub with everyone staring then start pumping bullets...very quite stylish , like the Antonio Banderas personality with long hair...El Mariachi has to be one of the coolest characters around... has a certain charisma to it that is hard to shake... is a kind of movies.... that really needs no story and basicily there isn't really any..... All the fun characters, dialogue and action sequences make you forget that there isn't really a story....
Unfortunately the last sequel "Once upoun a time in Mexico" was not that good compared to "Desperados" spolit it by giving too many characters...pretty average only given all 3 movies by ....director Robert Rodriquez..They say first one was also very nice (played by diff actor) though never seen it.. if u had not seen them .all are in fact about the same character - El Mariachi..what's quite unique is that even they r the same, they have different titles for each movie in the series -

Once upoun a time in Mexico just spoilt the whole series....all the great characters like Salma Hayek in Desperados have been killed off...

its one of mariachi's sidekick the more handsome de, plus johnny depp is f.ucking cool -
the first one blows the rest away...
it was guerilla filming at its best...
the rest.. just didn't hack it..
trivia: the scene where the Mariachi speaks to Domino was filmed separately.. as in the actors didn't see each other because the actress acting as Domino was ill.. it was spliced together later in the editing room
another bit of trivia: the dude acting as Moco cannot speak Spanish at all.. he didn't know what he was saying and learnt his lines without understanding anything

so did Titanic and that was one of the most abysmal movies ever!
think about this line:
"i asked the man if the song was any good and he told me about the position in the music charts"
popular doesn't mean good..
watch the movies, come to your own conclusions.. don't look at the box-office takings as a judge..
