Do you see any ah bengs holding CEO positions of listed companies?Originally posted by Saint Valentine:Do u do notice that the guys who are crafty and ruggard (ah bengs, vagabonds and troublemakers) are more intelligent and calculative when come to the outside world...because when young they preferred to grow up in outside environment than classroom.

Yes. there are former ah bengs and troublemakers who are now CEOs.If u looked deeply they do have a history of being school dropout and retook studies later when they were older.Originally posted by shade343:Do you see any ah bengs holding CEO positions of listed companies?
I excel in humanities rather than maths lehz...Originally posted by FireIce:tts why some ppl say guys tend to do better in science and maths subjects while girls will excel in languages and humanities
exactly what i wanted to say. Boys being restless just wont stay still in a classroom. Becos, of this reason alone , though they can be more intelligence than the bookmugging nerds, they dropout from school more and often. It then creates a social misconception that they are dumb and dont possess the ability to learn.Originally posted by laurence82:actually no need to be ah bengs
basically kids who have the tendency to create trouble from young possess some intelligence books-mugging kids may not have
strange, all these stuff st valentine posted were discussed in my class today
yes but does not mean they are better than boys. Girls are doing good in school because the classroom model is tailored for themOriginally posted by gerrykoh:I think the girls are doing better, a lot of them are also good in Sc. subjects + humanities, they are more disciplined - esp in Uni., the girls outnumber the boys
ya lo me too..i jus like humanities and hate sciences and maths despite takin double maths and triple scienceOriginally posted by Simple_Bear:I excel in humanities rather than maths lehz...![]()
