after reading many posts in this forum, and elsewhere, and also after interacting with many chinese, and other nonchinese ethnicities, it is obvious to me that chinese are the most racist ethnicity in singapore.
not only because they are the majority, per capita, out of 100 persons, surely more than 50 persons will be racist.
first, either racist against malays (and because chinese think all muslims are malays and all malays are muslims) and muslims.
then, against indians from singapore.
then, against indians from india.
then, against bangladeshis from bangladesh.
then, against chinese citizens from people's republic of china
then, against thai citizens from thailand
then, against people from myanmar/burma
then, against africans
then, against sri lankans
then, against europeans/so called "caucasians"
then, against sikhs from singapore
then, against sikhs from india
and the list goes on.....(e.g. i didn't mention "eurasians" in singapore)
any reasonable chinese or nonchinese person can explain why this is so? i dun wanna sound racist against chinese or any other person or persons, that's why one possible explanation called "middle kingdom syndrome" I dont propose.
anybody? let's not be racist and be fair to everybody. it's not JUST chinese ppl who are racists, but disproportionately more ppl are from chinese ethnicity who're such racists.
at least against one of those i mentioned above. in one way or another. at least one, but maybe even more.
