i want to know ar... if my prelim i get 17 rite (surely cannot go into Temasek JC one) then my lvl i get 8 point will i still get to go in to temasek JC?
then also the first 3 months i nvr go to any jc i do wad? is it slack at home?
wad advantage does the studetns have over those students hu got in the jc at march rather in january?
and also will i have a lower rate of going into the TJC if my prelim sukx? but my o lvl good leh how?

1st 3 months is mainly get to know ur fellow classmates and schoolmates
and oso to start on the subjects already....
if u miss the 3mths, there is quite a bit of catching up to do
but the school will offer crash courses and extra lessons for those who were missed the classes in the 1st 3mths....
oso, the ppl would have known one another oredi, u have some socialising to do to mix well with ur peers...... -
1st 3 months if cannot go JC can go Millenia Institute. Anyway, after this year, 1st 3 months won't be implemented. The advantage for going to JC for the 1st 3 months is you get to study the subjects at JC. You won't have a hard time catching up than those students who did not attend 1st 3 months. Another advantage is to make your O Levels better. Let's say you manage to get to Temasek JC in the 1st 3 months, and you choose Temasek JC as your first choice during JAE, you will get 2 additional points to your L1R5. For example, you got 8 points. 2 bonus points means 6 points for L1R5.
Prelims only determine if you can get into JC or MI for the 1st 3 months, it doesn't determine your life after O Levels. -

my prelims 11 raw i went tpjc
o levels 8 raw i got into tjc
and i dont even take higher chinese, so no -2 -

basketball, rugby and other team sports also can, though a little less helpful lor......
TJ and NJ both no feeder schools, so more impartial in secondary school selection.....

you must get a C6 and above in the HMT exam to qualify for bonus point. A1 is express MT only means a guaranteed 1-point slot in R5.
if u can get into TJC with ur prelims, u enjoy the 2 points bonus. tat is the obvious advantage of working hard for ur prelims.
and yes, tjc got integrated programme. up! -
pts for deduction are quite useless for most JCs look at ur overall raw score.. guess u need at least a raw score of 8,9 perhaps 10 to get into tJ

1st 3 months without jc = slack at home or MI...
if u hav spent these 3 months without a jc u will hav alot of catching up to do...
