PROs and CONs of '30 seconds' RULE...

As MOST of you should know now... Yuo have to WAIT for 30 SECONDS before you can POST AGAIN after a single POSTING...
PLS LIST the PROs and CONs and tell us if you WELCOME that IDEA...?

Personally.. The PROBLEMS I have experienced would be...
1. Cannot 'chit chat' like before.. As in a single thread.. ESPECIALLY a 'chatting thread'... You cannot post a reply as fast as before... Making the 'conversation' somehow... Awkward..?
2. Cannot change typo error immediately... Sometimes I type some post too fast or realised a mistake, I have to wait for 30 seconds to EDIT it...
3. 30 SECONDS is actually quite ALOT of TIME especially for people in a HURRY or have LIMITED TIME ACCESS to the FORUM....

Complain..? Don't want lah... I just like to KPKB a bit for now... And see if it's only me finding it a nuisance or got others as well... Maybe after that then we can discuss if it's worth the '30 seconds'...? -

junior member = 1 post/1 min

the message 'error' seems weird also...you post quickly in another topic 30 secs from your first one and it still says 'duplicate post'?? -

you REALLY won't double post when the server lags...but it's still not supposed to be our problem anyways -

PROs:
-stupid clones cannot spam. but one thing we cannot forget, they're hardworking.
CONs:
-cannot edit spelling errors. by the time 30s is up, some other ppl would quote your post and say, "eh, it's spelt as ..."
-maybe you long time nvr come this forum suddenly so many things to talk abt. jump frm one thread to another. then, they say duplicate post. -

hmmz maybe shorten it to like 20 sec?
somewhere in between the old 15 sec and the new 30 sec
as for jnr members... make it 10 min for first 100 posts :twsited: like what uncle pct mentioned.
anyway sgf is not the worse.
