Q: Is Corneal Refractive Therapy the Same as Orthokeratology?
Ans : Orthokeratology is defined as the reshaping of the cornea to reduce myopia through the use of rigid contact lenses. So technically, CRT is a type of orthokeratology.
looks like not many people know about this contact lensOriginally posted by pqr:A check with Singapore Eye Centre and NUH do not provide this cornel refractive therapy...

really?Originally posted by CryoLind:It can be found in optical shops. I once went to Spectacle hut n saw the brochure... it cost like $1k+or did i heard wrongly???
I was quite interested in d beginning but den i figure it would be cheaper to wear normal contact lenses and when i save up enough to go for lasik.
yeah it is more than 1k for a pair , heard its quite hard to fit also, and results are not permanent, even if you've worn for very long if you stop wearing for a short while the degree would come backOriginally posted by CryoLind:It can be found in optical shops.
