Firstly, are you using wireless? If you are not, it is not supposed to be ticked. If yes, wait for the whole troubleshooting process to be completed.Originally posted by papercut87:i clicked troubleshoot and got this:

What's the error that you got? Re-sign in and wait for the error to popup. Press Alt+Print Screen and copy it to any image editors. Upload it for us to see. -

the thing is...my MSN was working perfectly fine yesterday and suddenly they said that there was a firewall? like wth? now??

You got firewall installed? Like ZoneAlarm or McAfee or Norton? How about the wireless? Stop those file sharing. If not, sometimes can interfere with MSN. -

i think the online troubleshoot no use de...i oso got try before...i know nuts about what they telling me. Sometimes if you are behind a company firewall they do blocking of ports. ICQ, MSN, Yahoo etc uses some range of port number and the bloody sys admin go block those ports so no matter how you cannot go out lor.
Port 80 is usually used for normal web browsing and hence most sys admin do not block. So to do chatting, use those online web chat using port 80 lor
