how many things i need to do before i open a coffee shop ne?? -

u need 2-3 coffee machines.. around 2-3k each -

Capital you need at least a 5 digit for a stall and a 6 digit for a coffee shop

You're better off setting up a trading company. It's a good channel for earning $$$.

the old scheme rental i believe is only a few hundred dollars for hawker stalls.
now it is in thousands, not easy to break even.
assuming you lease a whole coffee shop for business. the rental, depending on the location will be in tens of thousands. you get to sub-lease the stalls to other hawkers. the success of the coffee shop actually depends very much on the general crowd and also the quality of the hawkers you sub-lease to.
on top of that you have to pay a few months downpayment. assuming the rental is 30k per month, you might have to fork out 30k x 3 mths = 90k for downpayment.
can you afford?
running a coffee shop is a big-time business.
try selling porridge (ba chok, not teochew muair) to get a feel of what hawker life is about. -
