pimples.....

well....recently i have a few pimples on the left cheek...dunno why maybe bcoz of the weather..but i went to the doctor and he prescribed me with some medicines and cream..
till now still no effect and it's becoming like 6 pimples...and it's kinda yuckie...
so anyone have anything that might help?..

apply concealer as what my girl friends have been telling me..hehe..

drink more water, sleep early, consume less oily food.

coz last week was exam week and i study till 3 am and wake up at 7 am...
drink more water?....i tried..went to toilet c often..
gene?.cant be..none of my relatives have pimples...
man...it's damn frustating....

dun press/squeeze ur pimples.
first it may leave a scar on the spot u squeeze.
And it's dangerous, someone told me before that somewhere near ur nose/beblow ur eyes, there are vein that directly connects to ur brain. when u squeeze ur ur pimples and it happens to be on such vein, it may hurt ur brain seriously. I thought that was bullshit. Once i try to squeeze a pimple beside my nose, when i squeeze, that spot will pain, that natural. But when i squeeze harder trying to make it burst..... before it burst, i feel a sudden pain in head, and i feel kind of dizzy suddenly, so i stop pressing right away.
After an incident, i dun squeeze my pimples anymore. -
yes,dont not press them...i did it on the past and now my face is full of scars...

my condition also v jialat, esp now exam period.
but i make it a must to wash face 2 times a day, apply toner, mosturiser and oxy 10. -
dun eat too much oily food. yday i had a plate of veg beehoon which was rather greasy
. at nite i saw bits of oil forming on my nose & forehead.

I've read before that 2.5% benzoyl peroxide has fewer side-effects and is still almost as potent as 10%. And after trying 2.5% - I got pretty much the same results as 10% but without the redness and irritation.
There aren't that many 2.5% medications on the market - I can only think of Neutrogena On-The-Spot and Benzac AC. You should be able to find both at Guardian Pharmacy.
I personally prefer Benzac AC - it cost me about $14 for 60ml. Neutrogena is more expensive - it costs about $10 for 20ml, I think.
Anyway, if you do find Oxy 10 to be good enough and your skin isn't as sensitive as mine, then go ahead and use it. After all, I believe Oxy is cheaper than the medications I mentioned.
