More of cultural reasons.
Asian guys tend to be humble and "shy" by nature.
Asian guys talk what they have and don't exaggerate their capabilities.
Ang moh guys will like to talk more, talk beyond themselves, which impress asian gals. Later asian gals will just regret, finding out they can only talk. no action.
Asian guys... hmm.... at least what they talk, they can live up to it. -
caucasians more outspoken, friendly, interactions while asians r more introvert generally.

There are a whole host of reasons. Firstly, the sterotypical nature of asian guys - shy, reserved, uptight, boring and I believe a certain degree of an inferiority complex probarbly inherited from the colonial mentality many still possess or for that matter an assumption of what the ang moh women thinks of him. On the other hand, ang moh women prob do have their own assumption of asian men or yes of course there is the physical difference which might serve as an obstacle to further progress in the relationship, if any. Then again, it is my assumption of what ang moh women think, so I guess I'll never know unless I actually try talking up one of them - which would be all improbable as it would just all seem too queer. Dun get wrong, I bet I like everyone else is as attracted to caucasian women , just that it is just that bit harder as compared to asian women.

we need to define what "asian" means. Used in the UK and Europe, an asian person means an indian person
our common understanding of an asian person is anyone born in asia, regardless of race. -
