its a bit different from the anime but i prefer the manga
anyway, the anime is slightly different from the manga. although important plot points are the same, the way the story is told is different.
for example the manga didn't show the part Eric take the state alchemist test. -

Watched the complete series last yr. Fma and naruto was the two amine which is most popular in japan at dat time. Fully agree that the movie has sad ending alto some of the part is funny...e.g one of the guys that is trying to woo armstrong 's sis...laugh until I peng.
The best thing I liked about dis movie is the bond bet the brothers(Eric and AL). It is so strong dat they r will to sacrifice themselve to save another... -
