i took the train from Tampines.. i wanna go Orchard... i was running late ah. so i thot 30mins shud be enough.
frm Tampines to Simei, normal. den at Simei, the doors stayed open for about 5mins. den got announcement,
"there is some technical problems at Tanah Merah Int. this train service will be delayed."
so i thot okay. the doors stayed open. people got restless and went out of the train. some gave up take taxi i guess. after a few more of such announcements, the train doors closing announcement came and everyone rushed in.
den the train travelled at walking pace all the way to tanah merah!!! aft the viaduct, the train emergency brake! den got some people start cursing liao. den it stayed there for abt 2mins. den move off again at walking pace to tanah merah int.
there, train doors opened for 5mins again! den close. train moved abt 10cm and emergency brake again! wah again people murmured stuff. stall for 2mins den move off as normal. after that, really kamikaze to boon lay.
so that was it. my 1hr 20mins train ride frm Tampines to Orchard.
anyone else affected by this just now?
