My fujitsu laptop adaptor just broke...
A new laptop adaptor costs S$160 ... sigh...
even "pirated" ones costs $70++ ...
Question: Why so EX?!!?
Anyone knows why?
Are there gold plated components inside the adaptor?
From what i know, it's just a transformer to lower down the voltage right?
Although the current output is quite high, at 3.36A;
It still can't be that expensive?!?

So far i see them selling for $25 for common toshiba ones to $50. if you are in luck you get to see Fujitsu one.
Why so ex ah? because i think the components inside are chosen to give a regular output. output fluctuation wouldn't be good to your laptop.
$170 for an adaptor is really too much man. i think they dont' earn from your laptop but earn from the accessories they sell. -

alternative, cruise around places where ppl use laptop..u see them locking down their laptop to desk, table, etc, but they dont lock down their power supply. Go n pinch one

note that buying non-original parts, if ur laptop spoil, it will not be covered under warranty

If you're getting directly from Fujitsu, it's going to cost you a bomb. Get it from either SLS or SLT.
