  Use your windows media player, under 'tools' you choose 'options' and under the 'performance' tab, you set video acceleration to 'none'. When it comes to the portion where you wanna do the capture, press 'print screen' from your keyboard. Then press ctr-v in paint, photoshop (first make a new , blank pic), or any other picture editing software. Then crop as required and save.
