  watched te xie on tv just now, which talked abt a korean family that migrated to sg and started their lives here. very remarkable of the 2 children to be able to juggle 3 languages, korean, english and chinese.

  You would be surpised how much kids can handle when they are young. In fact the best time to learn another language it's when you are young as their brain is not yet fully formed or hardwired to think in a certain language. I wished I had more opportunites when I was young.

  That would be best because you can experience both the culture and be in constant contact with the native speakers; both of which would be of great help in your endeavor.
