im assembling a PC for a fren's bro. The bro's still schooling so i was thinking of taking out some money to help him assemble a PC
hoping to get some parts at cheaper price or some kind donation if possible
i have casing
need
1. mobo + processor (at least P4 Celeron/ 2.0Ghz)
2. memory( DDR 266/333Mhz 512mb) - Is 256mb sufficient for WinXP?
3. hdd - 40Gb
4. graphic card - GFX 5500 or above(AGP)
5. PSU (sufficient to power the above config)
6. keyboard or mouse(working condition can le)
7. Speaker( working condition can le)

Also looking for a cheap combo of mobo+processor + ram(prefer intel abt 2.0Ghz)
128MB of RAM can be used to start XP, only at tortoise speed. 256MB makes it faster twice. 512MB will be nothing if he upgrades to Vista at the end of this year.
